Rape in country continues..who is responsible and what are the deterrents?

The entire country, its citizens, government all are witnessing the fate of that gang rape victim. Agitations, protests, demonstrations and the anger of people can be seen at every nook and corner of the country but is it infusing any fear in the minds of the people who intend to commit such heinous crimes. Even currently when country is on boil regarding this issue there is hardly any affect on these heartless creatures and rape after rape is happening in different regions of the country.
Rape victim suffers but the big question is who is responsible..Police,Government or society? According to me at the topmost level government is responsible..it is the govt which makes laws, why until now there is no law on rape..does few years of imprisonment can act as a deterrent against such crimes? My answer is NO ! until and unless there will be no fear of law in people rape, eve teasing and sexual assaults will continue to happen. The demand of time now calls for the harsh laws so that when already convicted will meet the harshest fate this will serve as the deterrent.Quicker proceedings, fast track courts and the determinate will of the lawmakers is the need of an hour.Secondly, when laws and the subsequent orders by the governments to the police to be more vigilant, responsive and to be sensitive towards victims will prove as the corollary to the furtherance of stringent laws and actions. And,most importantly sensitization at the societal level is required..if we want government and police to be effective in these cases, also needed is an open minded, soft and unprejudiced nature of society towards the victims. It all begins right from the domestic level teach your sons to respect women, teach your daughters to be strong, independent and make them learn to defend themselves, bring a change in your own mindsets that if something untoward occurred with a girl she is not the one who should put to blame.
In conclusion,i would say not just government and police is at the failure somewhere we as the society..we as the people too have failed. The coherence of these three factors can only stop such devil crimes lest everyday..every hour some girl will be dishonoured, victimized and brutally harassed at the hands of some beasts....

This Diwali lets spread smile not smoke !

Year after year the awareness not to burn crackers becomes even more resonant but it still seems that everything is falling on deaf ears.Festivals brings with them lots of happiness and feeling of togetherness.Family, friends and communities all come together and enjoy the festival. There are so many ways to express our festive mood, people exchange gifts, there are Diwali parties,Puja takes place, scrumptious and grand meals are made..why not enjoy that all. But,No!! the entire attraction about Diwali somewhere gets centered around burning lots and lots of crackers.Even parents do not stop their children from not burning them and they too join them.Markets are replete with crackers and everyone is wasting hundreds of ruppees on crackers. Its like not burning crackers, but your money too! and most of all before purchasing them none gives a thought for a second that what how perilous it may prove for our environment. When without the crackers its all smoggish these days, imagine what can be the situation post burning them.It too takes so much of toll on aasthama patients it becomes extremely difficult for them to even come out of their homes and their respiratory issues agravates.
And,the worst part of all,the small children and women employed in factories of crackers.Thousands and lakhs of children lose their sight and face other bodily damages. This is something cruel in its extreme form and everyone from state to right down to us is negligent.Where are we heading to..can't we teach our children and our ownselves to be a little more concerned about environment and for those poor and destitute children who know nothing of Diwali except their plight.Instead of spending too much on crackers we can give the same money to poor children who are waiting that one day, they too will celebrate Diwali as others.Believe me,just cutting down yourself from crackers will not have any minutest of affect on the entire festival mood.

I strongly believe this that we owe a lot to our environment and the people who make their lives dull to make our festivals full of light.I think, its time to return something back to them and what could be better than a 'smile' and a future where there will not be anyone with the willingness to burn crackers and hence no child with burnt hands and lost sight.

Proudly,'Say No To Crackers'..and spread a smile on a child's face,its worth it!!
Most importantly,no festival is complete until you make someone happy.Do your bit and spread happiness!!!
Lots of love and good wishes
Happy Diwali...

Sochta tha main muqaddar mein mere veeraniyaan likhi hain...

Sochta tha main muqaddar mein mere veeraniyaan likhi hain...
Aahista aahista ehsaas hua aagey baaki kahaniyaan kitni hain...
Kabhi buland tha,kabhi jhuk gaya...
Rotey rotey pata nahi main kab has gaya..
Band darwaaze ki or meri aankhein tiki thi...
Kisiki yaad mein aankhein bichi thi..
Na koi aaya..na hui koi dastak..
Chalo accha hi hua! mere naseeb mein likhi thi khushiyaan hadon ki hadh tak...

Duniya ki bandishon se main beghana tha...
Main toh bas ek alhad deewana tha...
Kya yahi bangayi meri saza..
Khuda se ki thi maine bas ik choti si raza...

Meri khwahishon se bade the Khuda ke faisle...
Shayad isiliye mile kaante,Taqdeer mein aagey likhe the gulaabon ke guldastey..
Ek woh bhi waqt tha,jab ansuni thi meri har pukaar...
Aaj yeh bhi waqt hai jab mere sunne wale hain hazaar...

Main bhi kum nahi tha! Chattaan ban gaya..
sulaghti aag ke aagey toofaan ban gaya...
Jab haske piche dekha toh sab dhundla hogaya...
Zindagi ke panno par likha har dard halka hogaya...
Behtar aaj mein AQS..mera bura kal kahin khogaya....

This poem emboldens the fact that how nothing is constant in this world..and so our sorrows. If once time can be gloomy in our life, the next moment will surely bestow happiness on us.
Bad not always suggests bad..it is sometimes harbinger of better prospects in future.
All is required is tenacity, belief in Almighty who is the source of every goodness and a positive outlook...

World can appear worse, but its not. This life always keeps telling us This IS NOT THE END :)

Be happy and optimistic! :)

Mohabbat Tu Itni Karna...

Hadein behad hojayein,
Mohabbat tu itni karna..
Subah ki shabnam mein mera chehra surkh nazar aaye,
Mohabbat tu itni karna..
Ban jaun main muntazir teri ek jhalak ki aur tu banjaye mera aaina,
Mohabbat tu itni karna..

Na bolun main kuch aur chup tu rehna..ban jaane de aankhon ko zariya,
Mohabbat tu itni karna..
Bhiga de mujhe apni tishnagi mein itna Aqs ki ibteda mohabbat ki phir hojaye,
Mohabbat tu itni karna...

Crossroads-When we don't know who we are,What we want and what is right for us !

This is the philosophical dilemma which everyone of us encounter sometime in their life.Life goes hassle free and goes the way we project the life to be for ourselves. But that crossroad had to come because its the nature of life which has been ordained for us.It is that part of our life when we lose the ability to decide for us and we do what goes with the heat of the moment.
We often hear,"drive the life on your own terms, don't let the life drive you",in my point of view sometimes its all hazy.Situation turns in the way that it appears we are standing amidst the extremely crowded place and what we are trying to say is not heard by anyone not even by our own inner self. This is the moment where we become oblivious of who we are, what we want and what is right for us.
Finding oneself at the crossroads of life can lead us to two paths-first,the gravity of the problem can break us in every possible way and the eventual result would be shattering of our morale to its highest bit.second, the similar set of circumstances can make us..yes the situation is..'i don't know what to do,where life will take me,i am in such a condition that its too heavy for me to get up and take the right decision for myself',but the same gravity of problem can give us the power to make way for us.Initially we might feel depressed because of the unworkable and wobbly attempts but the belief on our thoughts and the clarity and purity of intentions will let us win over the crossroads of our life.
Crossroads, can appear tough but let them know you are tougher and accept them with all your heart that they too are the face of life..

A ' relief ' for Sachin !

Applauds and many congratulations to the master blaster and the God of cricket,Sachin Tendulkar for his 100th century.

Cricket and Bollywood are undoubtedly two religions in our country which are invariably connected to each Indian's heart. We love cricket no question about it but when it becomes obsession, our players pay the price. This is true that some amount of pressure is required to perform but its overdose is a harm.We as the audience and media together takes the players to the zenith when they win but what when they lose? At one moment,we cheer them and at the other all we have is flak for them.Sachin remarked after his 100th century,'i haven't felt more relaxed than this'.He is proud and excited at his victory but the relief he expressed was inexplicable. His happiness concocted relief is evident of the thing that how much pressure we create on them to perform.Yes! everyone had an eye on his 100th century, as a remarkable player he too would be wanting to make it but somehow he couldn't.Now that does not mean he should be criticized over and again.Debates on news channels and remarks by the people were filled with criticism for him,'he must take retirement','he is getting older','he does not have the same vigour and passion as before'..all his capabilities were questioned and commented upon on the basis of the few matches he lost. This is the level of pressure we create on their heads that perhaps this could have been the reason for their under performance at times.

The same argument holds for the Indian Cricket Team as a whole. When they win they are heroes when they don't..they are good for nothing. This is acceptable that a substantive criticism helps to look into where they lack and this increases the scope of improvement. But undue blabbering and loss of patience at the part of media and audience is not the right thing. We must not forget that Indian cricket is transformed and has grown manyfolds and the worldcup victory says it all!

Indian Cricket Team is in itself an entity and if it gets flawed at some point we should keep our patience intact and learn to believe in their capabilities.

Indeed a 'relief' for Sachin, atleast now he have to face pressure for one less thing..!!!

Woh pita hain mere....

May be this poem is amateurishly written by me..but i dedicate this poem to my father..n to all the girls who feel that their father is their real hero..

Love you dad...:)

Kabhi un aankhon mein jahan dekhliya,

kabhi dhundi unmein apni pehchaan,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.

Un hothon ne jab jab pukaara bitiya,

mere lamhe ban gaye khubsurat sadiyaan,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.

Kabhi un kandhon ne uthaya mujhe,

toh kabhi ban gaye mera khilona,

yeh farishta hain woh jinhe gawaara nahi hai mera rona,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.

Bure waqt ko apni mutthi band kar uska dhuan bana diya,

uss Rab ne toh mere liye koi jaadugar banadiya,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.

Lafzon se bayaan nahi karte,

dil mein umadkar aankhon mein chalakta hai pyar,

yeh hain toh hai meri duniya varna sab hai bezaar,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.

Khuda ne bhi kya niyaamat bana diya,

ek shaqs mein har ehsaas sama diya,

ratti ratti karke bunte hain humare liye sapne,

un sapnon mein talaashte hain apni zindagi ki dhadkanein,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.

Sab lutana mujhpar lagti hai inhe apni shaan,

yeh shaan hi hai toh hai inki Aqs sab khokar bhi inko dikhta hai mujhmein apna jahaan,

woh pita hain mere jinmein basti hai meri jaan.
